Bridgewater has been appointed by Biazo Realtors, as transaction advisors on a 1,000-acre city development project located in Accra, the capital city of Ghana. The company aims to raise an amount of $800 million (debt and equity raising) for a city development project. Biazo Realtors seeks to close the housing deficit gap in the country and has legally acquired the said acres of land in the Greater Accra Region for this purpose.
The city project will involve the development of residential, community, commercial and industrial properties as well as villas and luxurious apartments overlooking a waterfront. The project aims at developing a self-sufficient city targeted at young professionals, middle to high-income families, individuals, corporate bodies, and a host of vendors. It will also include recreational facilities, retail centres, malls, and schools to cater for the varying needs and comfort of its residents within a haven.
Ghanaians living both in Ghana and abroad, as well as returnees seeking for moderate to high-end apartments away from the busy areas of Accra will find this city a real boon.
